Review of the NT Live broadcast of Hamlet starring Maxine Peake in the title role. This Manchester Royal Exchange production also cast women as Polonius (Polonia), the gravediggers, Guildenstern and the Player King. Review of Hamlet at The Globe on April 23rd, William Shakespeare’s 450th birthday. This production will be going to over two hundred countries in a two year tour. Here it’s launched in London at The Globe in front of a full house.
