Follow link to the review of THE SEA by EDWARD BOND at Bath Theatre Royal. A production this elaborate will move on, I’m sure. Jennifer Saunders is the lead role, with a great cast, with Lucy Briars, Dominic Rowan, Sean Delaney. The set, and r=the video projection are state of the art, with superb sound design and music. The issue is the play itself which tries to blend farce, absurd drama and a touch of serious drama. Does it work? Read the review.
