Getting up to Speed…A fast track to Reading

This talk looks at techniques to overcome the discrepancy between oral and reading/writing skills for students from non-Roman alphabet cultures whose progress is hampered by their lack of speed reading rubrics and text.
Peter co-authored the Streamline English series and has co-written many series [Grapevine, Main Street, Handshake, In English] as well as pioneering 13 ELT video series including Wallace and Gromit. Peter is on the Extensive Reading Foundation board and A fast Track to Reading is his latest book.
