Review of THE MAN IN THE WHITE SUIT (follow link). Written and directed by Sean Foley, adapted from the 1951 Ealing Comedy. We saw it in Bath, on its pre-London run. It will be in London until January. This is going to be a massive stage success, 5 star.

Review of Harold Pinter’s The Birthday Party, directed by Ian Rickson, with a great cast: Toby Jones, Stephen Mangan, Zoe Wanamaker. My first five star review of 2018. A great 60th anniversary production of Pinter’s first full-length play.

Review added of Rules for Living by Sam Holcroft, at the National Theatre.  We’ve seen six plays in London in a week, as last year, and Rules for Living is easily the best production of an intensive week. Easily the best “post-Shakespeare” play of the six too.
