Review of the Royal Shakespeare Company production of The Duchess of Malfi, directed by Maria Aberg. The production has been noted for its unprecedented quantity of blood on stage, but what struck me were the great performances, dancing and music. A five star review. Joan Iyiola as the Duchess. Alexander Cobb as twin brother, Ferdinand.

Review of Philip Meeks’ play Murder, Margaret & Me at Salisbury Playhouse, running for a month. This is an intriguing comedy thriller based on the relationship between Agatha Christie and her first screen Miss Marple, Margaret Rutherford.

Review of All’s Well That Ends Well by William Shakespeare, at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. A candlelit production of a rarely produced play. It’s a play with modern resonances, and one I particularly like. So what about this production?
