Link to Frankenstein in the NT Encore presentation with Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller. I’m never sure whether National Theatre Encore / Live broadcasts should be stage or film. It’s under stage.

Review of The Full English at The Stables in Milton Keynes added. (see LINK) The Full English has Fay Hield, Martin Simpson, Seth Lakeman, Nancy Kerr, Sam Sweeney, Rob Harbron and Ben  Nicholls, so a modern folk supergroup in one of the best concerts of a very good year.

People

Review of Alan Bennett’s “People” in the National Theatre touring production added. I’ve done more good reviews than bad, but this was a ham-acting production of a dire play.

Dunsinane

Review of the National Theatre of Scotland RSC production of Dunsinane is linked here.  The play is set in the 11th century Scotland of Macbeth, but is transparently actually about Afghanistan or Syria now.

Review of Crosby, Stills & Nash in Bournemouth, 5th October 2013, the first date on their UK tour. See link. A chance to see three all-time greats, still keeping on, and still in fine voice.
