Surveys

Fed up with surveys? Take a look at the new article on SURVEYS (linked).

Review added of Carol,(LINKED) with Cate Blanchett & Rooney Mara. Evocative romance set in early 50s, but with more smoking than “Mad Men” you wouldn’t fancy having to do much kissing. Not that they do. They mainly smoulder. As do innumerable cigarettes.

Review of Bridge of Spies added. Directed by Steven Spielberg, script by The Coen Brothers, Music by Thomas Newman and starring Tom Hanks with the phenomenal Mark Rylance. Brilliant.

Joy – review

Review of Joy (linked), directed by David O. Ruseell, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Robert de Niro and Bradley Cooper. Very much a successor to Silver Linings and American Hustle resting on a great lead performance by Jennifer Lawrence. Bit can a story about a better mop being sold on a shopping channel truly wipe the floor?

Review of Macbeth at the Young Vic in a dance-theatre production which still retains a lot of text and has an outstanding Macbeth in John Heffernan. This got some poor reviews. We thought it brilliant.
