Review of The Lady: A Homage to Sandy Denny at Basingstoke added.
This tribute show included P.P. Arnold, Lavinia Blackwell, Thea Gilmore, Maddy Prior and Joan Wasser (Joan As Policewoman). It was a wonderful evening, and I think this short tour will be like the Leonard Cohen tributes and become part of recent rock history.

Great show paticularly Thea Gilmore – went home and bought some new tracks.
Wonder why the London Barbican show didn’t seem to do well. Telegraph review gave the show a low star rating and on talking to a friend who was there – they walked out at the break and they are keen on this type of music.
Anyway – more important we thought this Anvil performance was great, as apprntly did the enthusiastic audience with their S.O.
