Review of The Magna Carta Plays, four one act plays commissioned by Salisbury Playhouse to reflect on the 800th Anniversary of the Magna Carta. I fall over backwards to avoid negative reviews. However, this was the worst stuff I’ve seen in a theatre in three years. Four very poor short plays. But hey, negative reviews can be more interesting than my normal positive ones.

Little Shop of Horrors at Salisbury Playhouse is reviewed. A first rate original production of Ashman & Menken’s musical.

Review of POSH by Laura Wade at Salisbury Playhouse. The film The Riot Club was based on the original 2010 play, and this is a new production of the stage play. Extremely funny and fast moving.
