Review of Yasmina Reza’s “God of Carnage” (LINKED) at Bath Theatre Royal. This goes for more comedy than the 2011 film version of the play (which was retitled as “Carnage”) and it works.

Review of Florian Zeller’s “The Lie” (FOLLOW THIS LINK) at the Menier Chocolate Factory, Southwark. Translated by Christopher Hampton. This was a preview performance. It’s the companion piece to last year’s The Truth with four superb actors. You’ll be knocked out if it’s new to you, though if you have seen the counterpart, the plot won’t hold many surprises.

Review of Florian Zeller’s The Truth (Adapted by Christopher Hampton) at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Following the major success of “The Father”, Zeller’s “The Truth” is one of the funniest plays in years. 5 stars.

Reviews of Dinner With Saddam by Anthony Horowitz, with Sanjeev Bhaksar and Stephen Berkoff. A farce on a serious topic, set on the first day of the 2003 Iraq bombardment.

Review of Communicating Doors (linked here) by Alan Ayckbourn. This new production at the Menier Chocolate Factory in London is a “sci-fi farce” and with this cast, the Ayckbourn I’ve most enjoyed.

Review of The Hypochondriac, Theatre Royal, Bath linked. One of the negative reviews I’m afraid. It starred Tony Robinson, who we felt miscast.
