Review of The Winter’s Tale at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse added. It was fascinating how removing extraneous concepts and reverting to a dark, candlelit Jacobean theatre made fresh sense of the play.

Review of John Ford’s ‘Tis Pity She’s A Whore at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at Shakespeare’s Globe. A first-rate production opening the winter indoor season. The second production I’ve seen of this play this year.
