Review of All’s Well That Ends Well by William Shakespeare, at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. A candlelit production of a rarely produced play. It’s a play with modern resonances, and one I particularly like. So what about this production?

Review added of the 2016 Globe production of The Taming of The Shrew. (LINKED) This is set in Ireland and 1916, and goes all out on physical comedy.

Review of The Importance of Being Earnest, (LINKED) starring David Suchet as Lady Bracknell. An excellent, straightforward version of my favorite post-Shakespeare British comedy.
