Instant morning after reaction to the election results (FOLLOW LINK) written right off without stopping. I was up till 5 a.m. Rash? Harsh? Judgemental? All of the above.

The 70s were Crap. (LINKED( A new long rant added. This was a response to an internet discussion where the 70s were recalled as a political golden age. It wasn’t. This has political opinions. They may well offend. I hope they do not lose me friends. If you don’t like criticism of Momentum, please stop here.  It rambles all over the place too. So a RANT if ever one was ranted. Hopefully though there is also some humour.

Review added of The Australian Pink Floyd Show, at Bournemouth International Centre, 7 December 2019. They vie with The Bootleg Beatles as the most elaborate and popular of tribute bands, easily filling large halls a year ahead. They have a massive light show and sound like the real thing, but … well., I was critical. Read the review.

Review of the palmer james group, (FOLLOW LINK) at The Cellar at The Blue Boar, Poole, upon their 51st anniversary of breaking up in 1968, with original members Richard Palmer-James (Supertramp, King Crimson), Alec James and John ‘Hutch’ Hutcheson, joined by Bob Jenkins of Be Sharp on drums, who was with Richard and Hutch in Tetrad and Ginger Man, plus John ‘Andy’ Andrews (The Lonely Ones, The Joint) on bass and vocals, and with guest Lisa Wetton. The late John Wetton was in those bands. This was an intimate gig which was created as we went along. I organized it, so am biased, but for me, show of the year! Lots of pictures and a history of those great 60s bands and their members.

Review of Mischief Theatre’s non-stop comedy, Peter Pan Goes Wrong, at Bath Theatre Royal. Still on tour. Unmissable, and selling out fast everywhere.

I added a section to my article “View From The Queue”on book signings and signed books. It was based on a shop asking £75 for its new signed Book of Dust by Philip Pullman. The addition is at the end of the article.

Review of SYMPHONIC PINK FLOYD, live in Poole. The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the huge Bournemouth Symphony Chorus plus “The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Pink Floyd Rock Band.” There were nearly 200 musicians and singers on stage for a totally sold out concert. As it should be. Pink Floyd never sounded this good!

FREE BROADBAND IN EVERY PACKET! (follow link) A rant added on Labour’s new promise of free high-speed Broadband for all. This political climate keeps inciting me to rants. I thought this particular patent electoral bribe insulting to the intelligence of the British public. Read on …

Review of the 2019 TV Series “World On Fire” added. Follow the link. An excellent TV series set in Poland, England, Berlin and Paris, and approaching feature film quality, but there are a few issues!

I’ve added a rant on the Labour promise of a four day working week within ten years: The Four Day Week?  It’s not a negative rant either, though I do point out some of the issues, and note how it’s already the reality for many. Please feel free to comment at the bottom on the blog (or here).
