I pretty much agree with everything you’ve said except I think you enjoyed it more than I. I’m still trying to work out if it’s the worst since phantom menace, or the worst one. It seemed to ignore key aspects of the series for either nonsense plot points or comedy.

I think the diversity in casting is great. But why does Finn have to sound like a 21st century African American. Same with rose. She sounded like an Asian student. Accents aren’t the issue. Idiomatic dialect is. Like avatar, like transformers, like ‘put in any big budget special effects film’ a little less on special effects and a little more on good writing …
