Review of Measure for Measure at the Young Vic. A complete contrast to this summer’s hilarious Globe production. Directed by Joel Hill-Gibbins, lots of projection, live video feeds, modern dress.

Photo is Duke Vincentio, with the condemned Claudio projected from a live video feed.

Review of Nell Gwynn by Jessica Swale at the Globe Theatre (FOLLOW LINK). In the euphoria after seeing this production, we agree it’s “the best thing we’ve seen at the Globe.” A five star play featuring Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Nell.
