The Railway Man

Somewhat late on in its theatrical run, a film review of The Railway Man (LINKED) with Colin Firth, Nicole Kidman and Jeremy Irvine. The film did poorly with the critics, and is better than the reviews suggested, but while thought-provoking and moral, is nevertheless not “entertaining” in the sense of action, romance, or even drama.

Review of The Duchess of Malfi, (LINKED HERE) opening the recreated Jacobean theatre at The Globe, Sam Wanamaker’s Playhouse. Historically fascinating, theatrically lackluster.
